Start Learning To Play Today

I am currently accepting entry level guitar and bass students in East Boise. Children and adults are both welcome. I have over 20 years experience playing and teaching guitar. In addition, I have experience as a trainer and have trained for the U.S. Department of Justice in the states of Washington, Alaska, and Colorado, and I incorporate learning theories I have acquired into each lesson. 

I use lesson plans designed to teach students in an organized, sequential, incremental, yet flexible method that is based on students progress. Students completing the entry-level course will be taught the following: at least three variations of major chords, minor, and seventh cords, major and minor scales, ear training, tuning, restringing, intro to finger picking, and songs the student wants to learn.  Students who have applied the skills and knowledge of the beginner course will have the tools needed to begin a life-long enjoyment of playing guitar.

I offer a free consultation to parents and students to discuss guitar purchase (if needed), individual learning plan and timeframe, and private lessons vs. self study.

Lessons are $20, paid monthly.
